Temples to Artemis:
I see the race of this life and I want to slow the stream- to breathe in and enjoy the scent of the Earth. To live my time the pace that moss grows.
Artemis the multi-breasted Greek Goddess, symbol of the feminine divine, summoned this re-imagined forest.
The wood pallets that form these pyramids have transported goods around the world in this fast-paced consumer society. Pyramids, indicative of the power and myth of ancient Egyptian and Mayan sacred sites of ritual, have transformed my re-imagined forest through the Greek mythos of Artemis. As all things in this material world, Nature too is squeezed for every essence of potential possibility of financial gain and then discarded. But Nature returns to her origins completing a cycle.
These temples are made to honor her boundless gifts.
